Four UNU Jogja Students Pass PRIMA Internship Program of Ministry of Religious Affairs PTKI

Yogyakarta, Indonesia – Four students from the Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies Program at Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNU) Jogja have been selected for the PRIMA Internship Program (Professional Readiness through Internship and Mentorship for Academics) organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The selected students are Atya Fadila Ulafatin and Salsabila Nailul Izza, who will serve as Halal Advisors at PT Jaminan Produk Halal Indonesia, and Kaysa Qathrunnada and Idham Kholid, who will take on roles as Waqf Educators at PT Edukasi Wakaf Indonesia. The internship will run from September 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026.
Head of the Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies Program, Nuzulia, expressed her appreciation for this achievement, noting that it reflects the academic quality and readiness of UNU Jogja graduates to enter the professional world.
“The PRIMA Internship Program not only provides real-world work experience but also enhances students’ competencies in both scientific and community engagement fields. We hope they make the most of this valuable opportunity,” she said.
The PRIMA Internship Program is designed to prepare students from Islamic higher education institutions for professional careers through a combination of practical training and academic mentorship. [Latifah]
